Mrs. Lauren Fittipaldi (formerly Ms. Lauren Johnson) is a PreK-12 certified Music Teacher who graduated from Westminster Choir College with a double major in Music Education and Sacred Music, and from William Paterson University with a Masters in Educational Leadership. Teaching music is truly her greatest passion. She is so excited to be teaching the students at MTES!
Mrs. Fittipaldi has been teaching music to children and adults since 2015. She has taught in public schools, at camps, at churches, and in private lessons. Mrs. Fittipaldi has performed major choral works all around the world with Westminster Kantorei, Westminster Symphonic Choir, Delaware Choral Scholars, the New York Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra, Juilliard 415, and the Princeton Symphony Orchestra. Over the past two summers, she has performed with the Delaware Choral Scholars, who won several International Choral Competitions. She also enjoys performing a variety of genres as a solo artist, and works to translate this expertise over to the classroom to enrich students' experiences of these many types of music.
In addition to her love of music, Mrs. Fittipaldi enjoys playing tennis, traveling, hiking and enjoying nature, spending time with family and friends, and playing with her cat, Pippa!
Mrs. Fittipaldi is overjoyed and honored to be a part of the MTES family. She knows collaboration with her students, the staff, and the community will ensure her students’ success, growth, enjoyment, and empowerment. These are among the many values instilled in each of her lessons that will provide the best music education for Every Student, Every Day.
