Welcome to 3rd Grade! My name is Erica Parke. The 2017-2018 school year marks my 10th year teaching. I have taught 3rd and 4th grades here at MTES. I have also taught special education as a co-teacher and as a resource room teacher.
I believe third grade is a very special year in a child's education. My students will tell you, one of my favorite words is responsibility. Third graders are ready to take on new challenges and metacognitively awaken as learners. Adding individual, community, and academic responsibilities help them to actively participate in the decision making of their educations.
I believe a child should come to school excited everyday to learn something new. I try my very best to ensure that all students are met on their individual levels, so that they feel safe and secure in a happy environment. Work hard and play hard is our class motto!
I can't wait to see what the 2017-2018 school year holds in store for us!

I have had the pleasure of teaching in the Mendham Township School District since 1994 in second, third, fifth, and sixth grade. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Delaware and a Master of Arts in Educational Administration and Supervision from Montclair State University.
Your child’s 3rd grade experience will be fabulous! My goal is that your child goes home each day excited about what he/she has learned in school and eager to come back the next day to learn more. I hope to foster in your child a love of learning and a confidence in his/her ability to learn. Our classroom will be a safe, nurturing, challenging, and happy learning environment where we all do our personal best. I believe that each child brings his/her own unique talents, experiences, and personality to share in our classroom, and I truly believe in our district's philosophy of Every Student Every Day!
Ongoing, two-way communication between school and home is critical to a child’s success in school, and I look forward to working with you to ensure the best possible year for your child. Please contact me via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or phone (973-543-7107) if you have any questions or concerns.
My name is Miss Rubinaccio and this is my fourth year teaching. My classroom philosophy revolves around educating the whole child. In order for a child to be successful, both their academic and social emotional needs must be met. Students should feel safe, happy, and comfortable coming to school to learn each and every day. I am so excited to see what the future holds for the 2019-2020 school year!
