My name is Mrs. Dawes and this is my sixth year teaching. My classroom philosophy revolves around educating the whole child. In order for a child to be successful, both their academic and social emotional needs must be met. Students should feel safe, happy, and comfortable coming to school to learn each and every day. I am so excited to see what the future holds for the 2021-2022 school year!

My name is Amy Fortuin and I am so excited to be teaching 3rd grade special education at Mendham Township Elementary School this year! This will be my 3rd year teaching. I grew up in Milford, Pennsylvania and started my career after graduation in Mendham Borough teaching 2nd grade special education. Then shortly after, I moved to Great Meadows Regional school district, where I taught 2nd and 3rd grade special education for 2 years. I graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. In my free time, I like to spend time at the beach, go hiking with my dog and spend time with my family. I am looking forward to a great year working closely with Mrs. Dawes at MTES.
My name is Mrs. Molly Koller. This is my tenth year of teaching and my first year in Mendham Township. I previously taught in Needham, Massachusetts, and Eastchester, New York. I grew up in Mendham and walked the same MTES halls as a student! I am proud to return to Mendham and work with such a wonderful community.
Students demonstrate exceptional social, emotional, and academic growth during their year in third grade. In our classroom, students are encouraged to take risks, work collaboratively, and understand that it is okay to make mistakes. It's how we grow as learners!
I am excited to partner with you for a fantastic year together. Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or (973) 543-7107 when you have questions or concerns.

Third grade is an exciting year to grow as learners and people. I believe that students learn best when they are happy, engaged, and respected as individuals. I hope that I can foster a love of learning in your child that extends beyond the classroom.

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Delaware and a Master of Arts in Educational Administration and Supervision from Montclair State University.
Your child’s 3rd grade experience will be fabulous! My goal is that your child goes home each day excited about what he/she has learned in school and eager to come back the next day to learn more. I hope to foster in your child a love of learning and a confidence in his/her ability to learn. Our classroom will be a safe, nurturing, challenging, and happy learning environment where we all do our personal best. I believe that each child brings his/her own unique talents, experiences, and personality to share in our classroom, and I truly believe in our district's philosophy of Every Student Every Day!
Ongoing, two-way communication between school and home is critical to a child’s success in school, and I look forward to working with you to ensure the best possible year for your child.
