Mendham Township Elementary School will be closed until further notice in response to COVID-19.
Our teachers and administrators have prepared for this type of event and we are in a position to continue the educational process through our Distance Learning Plan. All students PK-4 will need access to the Internet and a computer, laptop, Chromebook or tablet to access the daily schedule, instruction and communication with teachers.
Teacher web sites will have the daily home instruction schedule, lessons, apps, Google Meet and links. Our school will be using Google Meet to provide live access to our teachers throughout the instructional day. Students will also be asked to work independently or with an adult at home to complete work.
In order to make the learning process as successful as possible, it is required that an adult monitor students’ daily activities, communications and work completion. Students are required to follow our school’s Code of Conduct and Acceptable Use of Technology and any misuse or inappropriate communications may result in disciplinary actions.
Our school is committed to helping our students and families during this challenging time. Please regularly check your email as we will be pushing out information and resources daily. Check our school website daily and click on the DISTANCE LEARNING tab for updates and information.
Daily attendance will be tracked by our homeroom teachers so it is important that your child log on between 8:45-9:00 a.m. Instruction begins at 9:00 a.m. (M-F). If your child is ill and will not be able to participate in home instruction, please email Mrs. Wallack no later than 9:15 a.m.
I have included the links to all of the teachers' websites below for your reference.
