Special Thanks to the HSA Cultural Arts Committee for bringing in Colonel Jack Jacobs to speak to our students during Violence Awareness Week! Colonel Jacobs is one of 109 living Medal of Honor recipients. Following the presentation, MTMS students shared a moment of silence to honor Colonel Jacobs in memory of those Americans who so honorably serve our country: past, present, and future. After leading our students in the Pledge of Allegiance, Colonel Jacobs presented MTMS with a book, Medal of Honor, for our library – pictured above.
