Mendham Township District Schools is using Connect-Ed for District closings, delays, openings, early dismissals and other pertinent information.

The District has a database which houses names and phone numbers of parents/guardians. These numbers are prioritized based on the parent/guardian's request so that in an event of an emergency or closing, the most updated information can be disseminated.

Systems such as these are only as good as the information provided and the technology capabilities. Therefore, if cell phones are not in a serviceable area, home phones are linked to the internet and results in a busy signal, or phone mail systems are personalized or limited, difficulties may arise. At this point in the year the District is pleased with the system's level of success.
