November 1, 2007 At the end of their 4th grade year, the current 5th graders were asked to send postcards to the 5th grade math teacher, Mrs. BaRoss, throughout the summer. Each student was asked to send 4 postcards from near and far relating to their travels over the summer. Students were asked to tell how far they were from Brookside when they sent the postcard. The total miles were compiled and math activities are being done throughout the year pertaining to this data.
What would YOU guess the total amount of miles our 122 fifth graders traveled over the summer?
